In today's society, media freedom is something fairly uncommon. A hard lockdown on film, photography and other media is the norm. Copyright is no longer limited, it's effectively perpetual.
So, what's with this site, this blog? This site is dedicated to advancing media freedom. Not only will this site showcase free media, but also try to provide information resources that deal with intellectual property. Copyright law is EXTREMELY important, and this site does not hate copyright, it hates the idea that copyright lasts forever. This site favors balance in all intellectual property laws. Although things appear gloomy in the realm of copyright there is hope. We have Creative Commons doing amazing work, we have fair use proponents, and we have a platform to launch current and future battles against those who would like to see copyright last forever.
